Award Information
The National Alliance for Drug Endangered Children Alliance will partner with the Knik Tribe and the Mat-Su Valley Drug Endangered Multidisciplinary Team to develop coordinated prevention and intervention strategies for youth and their families impacted by opioids and other substances. The proposed project will provide culturally responsive interventions and create an overdose fatality review team to develop program and policy recommendations that will improve coordination and collaboration between public health, public safety, treatment, and social service providers, and community coalitions to prevent future overdose deaths. The National Alliance for Drug Endangered Children Alliance will develop a training that assists local DEC alliances in considering their role in overdose fatality reviews.
