The State of Alaska’s Division of Juvenile Justice is the division within the Department of Family and Community Services that is responsible for all probation, detention, and institutional treatment services for delinquent youth in Alaska. The State of Alaska’s Division of Juvenile Justice is the state planning agency that is responsible for administration of grants from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. This project will serve Alaska’s statewide juvenile population, ages 10-18 years old, which is approximately 12.5% of the State of Alaska’s total population.
