The purpose of this supplemental funding request is to obtain continued funding to:
1) Support the continued training and technical assistance effort for state and local law enforcement and AMBER Alert programs focused on the improvement of services to missing and exploited children and their families.

This supplemental funding request is intended to support the continued training and technical assistance activities for the ninth year of the United States Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), Child Protection Division (CPD) Missing and Exploited Children Training and Technical Assistance Program. This cooperative agreement between OJJDP and Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) is the third succeeding agreement between the two entities overall and the second successive agreement for the CPD law enforcement training and technical assistance effort. Consequently, FVTC is now beginning its tenth year of support to OJJDP in providing training and technical assistance services to OJJDP and their state and local service provider clients involved in the mission to improve services to missing and exploited children and their families.

Purpose of this project is to support activities relating to the development and provision of training and technical assistance to support Atlanta, Georgia and New York City, New York in the design and implementation of a systemic approach to address the needs of sexually exploited children. The focus of this effort will be to assist these communities in implementing strategies for:
- addressing the need for coordination of services,
- improving how information is handled by collaborating agencies, and
- increasing the public's awareness of sexually exploited children and impact
More specifically, the project will provide site-specific technical assistance and support to help each community progress through its phases of program development; and, second, to broker services of other OJJDP technical assistance providers (i.e., Institute for Educational Leadership, Capacity Building Institute of the Institute for Community Peace, formerly the National Funding Collaborative on Violence Prevention, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, National Center for the Prosecution of Child Abuse, Child Welfare League of America, and the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges, among others.
