Award Information
The National Juvenile Defender Training and Technical Assistance Center's (NJDC) goals are to promote excellence in juvenile defense practices, to ensure availability of legal services to indigent and underprivileged children, and to train defense attorneys representing all children in juvenile or adult courts. The purpose of the Center is to "build the capacity and effectiveness of the defense bar to protect the rights and interests of children enmeshed in the justice system."
