The mission of the Teens, Crime, and the Community (TCC) initiative is to educate youth about crime's impact and prevention, reduce their potential for delinquency and victimization, and engage them in making their schools and communities safer. This is accomplished through the development and ongoing support of schools, community-based organizations, and juvenile justice facilities implementing the comprehensive TCC program. The National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) will provide curriculum implementation and topical training, technical assistance, and supplemental materials to more than 500 sites during the year. These sites will engage more than 10,000 youth in crime prevention and community safety activities. NCA/NCF
