The Arise Foundation will provide training to over 250 juvenile justice staff throughout Florida to implement the Arise Life Management Skills programs. After the successful training, the juvenile justice staff will receive Arise training certificates. The juvenile justice staff will be responsible to educate incarcerated youth on social skills, such as anger management, conflict resolution, violence reduction, employment seeking skills, and substance abuse resistance. The Arise Foundation will disseminate the Life Management Skills material to the staff and the incarcarated youth . The Arise Foundation will provide performance measures that indicate the number of successful juvenile justice staff trained to implement the Arise Life Skills program and the percentage of youth who express satisfaction with the Life Skills program. ARISE provides training to juvenile justice staff in utilizing the ARISE Life-Management Skills programs, so they can educate high-risk youth on life and social skills needed to lead productive, crime-free lives after they are released from Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) facilities in Florida.
