The Father's Day Rally Committee will implement a comprehensive prevention/ intervention program targeted at 50 African American boys ages 11 to 17. The program's goal is to instill the seven Kwanzaa principles (unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, and creativity) in Philadelphia's African American youth. The program's strategy includes community service projects and group activities designed to promote leadership, self esteem, trust, and conflict resolution. Father's Day Rally will report performance outputs such as participation rates and performance measures such as pre- and post surveys of participants' attitudes and behaviors. Father's Day Rally will report their findings to OJJDP in the grantee's Categorical Assistance Progress Reports. NCA/NCF
