Award Information
This program intends to reduce risks and enhance protective factors to prevent at-risk youth from entering the juvenile justice systems and to intervene with first-time and non-serious offenders to keep them out of the juvenile justice system.
Specifically, the State of Alabama anticipates funding one or two existing sub-grantees in FY 2009. Alabama encourages prospective subgrant applicants to coordinate their school-based, law enforcement, and delinquency prevention-oriented programs so as to combine efforts to gain maximum benefits from the available funds.
